Community Projects

Vegetable & Flower Seed Give Away! (2012)

Linking with a large Hull garden centre we had the opportunity to distribute £100 of vegetable and flower seeds to local schools, for use in school wildflower areas and raised bed allotments. £100 packs were donated to Snaith, Carlton, Cowick, Rawcliffe, Pollington, Hensall, Whitley, Camblesforth and Hirst Schools. All Goole primary schools were covered, with others going to Airmyn, Reedness, Swinefleet and Hook.

Goole Residents (2011)

In 2011 we purchased 50 oak trees which were advertised in the Goole Times and Goole Courier for local residents to collect and plant as Memorial Trees. Planted to remember a family member, or friend.

Hook Primary School (2010)

In 2010 we donated 20 trees to Hook Primary School. With a group of five children we planted around the perimeter of the school with the aim of providing a natural screen and wildlife area.

Pollington Primary School (2009)

In 2009 we provided a number of trees and plants for Pollington Primary School as they developed a sensory garden and wildlife area.
